Mark JoelExecutive
Mark is an Executive at SLM with significant experience in acquisition and divestment of businesses in a wide variety of industries.
Former executive director of the Calum Group of Companies, a top-100 Australian private manufacturing business. Roles included General Counsel and Corporate Affairs Director. He played a major role in the restructure of the business, its international development including the establishment of a greenfields site in India, and its ultimate sale.
He has a successful background in private equity as an investor, including a foundation role in SEEK Ltd, Australia’s leading internet employment site.
More recently, he was a principal of a leading legal liability consultancy. Mark has degrees in Law and Arts from the University of Melbourne and was a senior associate at prominent Australian law firm Arnold Bloch Leibler. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
